Skin care recipes to look brighter and healthier

The skin is constantly exposed to fatigue due to daily stress, severe pollution, lack of sleep, and poor nutrition. Just a little time we spend on taking care of our skin will keep it healthy. Below are five simple recipes and basic steps that must be taken to maintain the beauty of the skin, in addition to more additional skin care tips .

Note: Always know your facial skin type – such as dry, oily or combination – so you can use the right products. Then do a patch test if you are applying the product to your face for the first time.

Five steps to basic skin care

1- Cleansing - done daily will get rid of all daily dirt, excess natural oils and any makeup.

2- Steaming – Doing it weekly helps open the pores for deep cleaning, and it also increases blood circulation.

3- Facial mask: Make a facial mask periodically, as it helps remove dirt and oils deep within the pores. It will also help replenish essential vitamins and minerals.

4 - Even skin tone - Gentle skin toning can be done daily to help tighten pores and give you an even skin appearance

5 - Moisturizing - Daily moisturizing helps replenish lost moisture and also provides a protective layer against harsh elements.

Skin care recipes

1- Cleanser for oily skin: Use a simple cleanser with apple cider vinegar if your skin is oily, as it removes dirt quickly. Prepare:

1. 2 tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar.

2. 2 tablespoons distilled water.

3. Mix the ingredients together/apply using a facial cotton/then rinse with mild water and leave it to dry gently.

2 - Steam - for oily and acne-prone skin, do a facial steam with lavender and the preparation method is:

1. 6 drops of lavender essential oil.

2. Approximately 1 gallon of boiling water.

3. In a large pot filled with almost boiling water, add the essential oil or cover your head with a towel, and once you determine that the water is not too hot, place your face over the pot of water and oil – about 12 inches away. For about 10 minutes, then gently dry your face.

3- Facial mask for all skin types. Use honey. Since honey is a natural humectant, it can attract and retain moisture in your skin. The antioxidant properties of honey help protect the skin from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. Dark honey is stronger and the method of preparation is as follows:

1. Always clean your face before making any face mask. Next, warm the honey to make it more liquid. Gently apply to your face and neck without pulling (use your hands for better control, but you can use a spoon) / relax, and leave the mask on for about 15 minutes. Wash with warm water then spray with cold water. Leave it until it dries.

4 - Simple Toner - This super easy green tea tonic is good for tired and aging skin How to prepare:

1. 2 tablespoons green tea.

2. 1/2 cup of water.

3. Steep the tea for 10 minutes and let it cool. Apply it using a cotton ball. This tonic is gentle enough for daily use.

5 - Moisturize the skin. Here are some simple suggestions.

1 - Rose water and moisturizing glycerin recipe.

2 - 2 tablespoons rose water.

3- A spoonful of glycerin.

4. Mix them together to form a moisturizer and apply at night. Glycerin, like honey, is also a humectant and attracts moisture to the skin. And also shea butter, which is not only excellent for moisturizing, but also has many other health benefits.

Note: Many oils also work well to moisturize the face. This includes olive oil, peanut oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil and more.

Additional skin care tips

1. When steaming, always clean your face first, make sure the water is not too hot and do it once a week for best results.

2. When treating your face, apply the treatment to the neck as well.

3. There are certain areas of your face that are more susceptible to lack of moisture. So, make sure to moisturize the areas above your upper lip and above your cheekbones.

4. Adding certain foods to your diet will help soften and heal your skin. Add foods that contain vitamin A. This includes carrots, pumpkin, spinach and cantaloupe. Foods containing vitamin E will help improve elasticity. This includes eggs, broccoli, and leafy green vegetables.
