Another ingredient is GARLIC;

While ginger is the main ingredient, garlic is also important. And although not much quantity is needed, it is an essential ingredient. Garlic is a plant in the onion family that’s grown for its distinctive taste and health benefits. It contains sulfur compounds, which are believed to be responsible for some of those health benefits. Garlic, which is sometimes enjoyed raw by some people, improves immunity, stabilizes blood sugar levels, and supports heart and brain health. This herb is also used mostly in China, like ginger.

Next ingredient is CLOVES;

Cloves are another ingredient needed to make the Ginger Mixture. This herb, like the rest of the ingredients, is important, and must be present in this drink. Cloves are the aromatic flower buds of a tree in the family Myrtaceae, Syzygium aromaticum. They originated from Indonesia, and are natives of the Maluku Islands. They are commonly used as a spice, flavoring or fragrance in consumer products, such as toothpaste, soaps, or cosmetics. Cloves are full of antioxidants. These compounds help your body to fight free radicals, which damage your cells and can lead to disease. By removing free radicals from your system, the antioxidants found in cloves can help reduce your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.

BITTER KOLA;

Bitter Kola is the fourth ingredient needed in preparing the Ginger Mixture. Bitter kola, also known as bitter cola or Garcinia Kola, is a plant found in Central and Western Africa that has long been valued for its medicinal properties. Although traditional African medicine uses all parts of the Bitter Kola plant, the seeds are mostly commonly eaten. Bitter kola seeds have a sharp, bitter flavor that eases into a slight sweetness as you chew, and Bitter kola has been used over the years to fight infections from the common cold to hepatitis. A 2018 study showed that bitter kola can help combat coughs, bacterial infections, and viral infections. Eating bitter kola when an infection starts may help fight the infection and make you feel better more quickly. They’re typically eaten raw.
