What are allergies and how to get rid of allergies with natural and artificial remedies

If someone develops a rash or sneezes due to dust, animal fur, or pollen, it means you have an allergy. To have an allergy means to be affected by something that is harmless to most people. The substance that causes an allergic reaction is called an allergen. People can be allergic to all kinds of things, including certain foods and today I'm going to talk to you about allergies and how to get rid of them with natural and artificial remedies.

It is not well understood why some people develop allergies while others do not. Many doctors and scientists believe that genetics plays a role in determining who will be allergic, because there are families where grandparents, parents and children are allergic to the same substance. However, in many other cases of allergy, no other family member has an allergy. While doctors do not know why some people develop allergies.

For example, suppose a child has an allergy to chocolate. And the first time he eats chocolate, it is digested in the stomach and intestines. Digested chocolate causes special cells in the body's tissues to produce a chemical called an antibody. And the next time chocolate is eaten, its digestive products combine with the antibodies found in the skin and lungs. This damages the small blood vessels in the skin, allowing fluid to drain out. As a result, small patches of fluid collect on the skin, appearing as hives (spots). The effect on the lungs may be the outflow of thickened mucus and blockage of the bronchial tubes. This is asthma: during an attack the child has great difficulty breathing.

Antibodies are generally considered one of the body's most important defenses against infection. It is some antibodies that cause damage in this way. When this particular type of antibody combines with an allergen (in this case, chocolate), a substance called histamine is released. Then histamine causes an allergic reaction. Some medicines, called antihistamines, can prevent an allergic reaction although they cannot cure an allergy.

How do you get rid of allergies without medication?

How to get rid of allergies can be difficult for us. Since allergies come and go anytime or everywhere, these unique reactions are a never ending story that is interesting to discuss.

In general, there are plenty of medications ranging from standard or prescription medications to home remedies that you can choose to soothe allergy symptoms. All of these methods, both traditional and alternative, may work well for some people. But if you are looking for medications that can help relieve your allergy symptoms without annoying side effects that control your daily activities, then natural remedies are the best option.

What are the types of allergies?

There are three main types of allergies. Several other types exist, but these are the most common abnormalities that people deal with every day.

1. Food allergy.

The first type of allergy is a food allergy. A food allergy can be identified by hives or swelling within minutes or hours after eating a particular food, which is caused by the body's immune system mistakenly believing that that food is harmful and triggering the release of histamine. As a result, severe symptoms may occur, such as itching, redness of the skin, problems swallowing (narrowness of the throat), or vomiting, to name a few. Symptoms may also appear later, such as abdominal pain and diarrhea, after one to three days in adults such as; parenchyma; blood in stool malaise (malaise); Skin sensitivity (eczema).

2. Respiratory sensitivity.

The second type of allergy is respiratory allergy. Respiratory allergies can be identified by sneezing, runny nose, or postnasal drip, which are caused by the body's immune system mistakenly believing pollen or other allergens to be harmful and triggering the release of histamine. As a result, severe symptoms may occur, such as itchy eyes, sneezing, stuffy/runny nose, wheezing, mouth breathing, coughing, hoarse voice, and dizziness, to name a few. Symptoms may also appear later, such as nasal congestion lasting more than 10 days in adults and children older than 1 year without flu symptoms; And sinus problems and asthma caused by allergies. Pneumonia caused by allergies.

3. Skin sensitivity.

The third type of allergy is skin allergy, also known as Atopic Dermatitis or Eczema. Skin allergy can be identified by a rash caused by the body's immune system mistakenly believing that contact with certain substances is harmful and leads to the release of histamine. As a result, severe symptoms such as itching, redness (erythema), and bumps/hives on the surface of the skin that resemble mosquito bites may occur; fluid-filled bumps under the skin; Blisters that do not contain fluid (dry vesicles), to name a few. Some people may get only the rash without itching, while others get both at the same time.

 Natural and artificial allergy treatments.

Here are some other ways to reduce pain, swelling, and discomfort:

cold pressure.

It reduces swelling in the sinus cavities and provides a comfortable and relaxing cleansing to the eyes and upper part of the face.

Acupressure.

Relieves pain and swelling. Acupressure can be used for many diseases. And again, using the practices of ancient oriental culture.

Antihistamines.

Relieves pain and swelling, although not comprehensive. Sometimes this is necessary if allergies are the problem.

Pain management with caffeine and aspirin.

Relieves headache pain. Aspirin thins the blood, and caffeine increases blood flow to the brain. This is not a panacea.

Pain medication with ibuprofen (Advil) or naproxen (Aleve).

reduces pain and inflammation; Again, it is not a natural remedy, but it is sometimes necessary.
