The most important thing to reduce your risk of many diseases, including cancer, is to control your weight. In general, it is the ratio of a person's mass to height that determines whether a person is obese or not.

This BMI is BMI = weight divided by kilograms divided by the square of height in metres. But in general, a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 is considered adequate.

A BMI of 25 to 29.5 is considered overweight and a BMI above 30 is considered a sign of obesity. To reduce obesity, it is necessary to control weight and make lifestyle changes.
